Plans and credits

How prepaid credits, per-page pricing and your account currency work.

SimplyParse is prepaid. You add credits to your account, and each processed document debits your balance. There's no monthly minimum and nothing to cancel.

How you're charged

cost = pages × the parser's per-page rate
  • Pages are counted per document. See What counts as a page.
  • The per-page rate depends on the parser's processor. Current rates and top-up options are shown in the app under Billing. Some organizations have custom pricing.
  • The amount charged for each entry is returned as cost and cost_currency by Get a document.

Introductory credits

When you finish onboarding and choose your currency, your account receives introductory credits: $1 for USD accounts or ₹100 for INR accounts. That's enough to test a parser on real documents before topping up.

Your account currency

The currency you choose during onboarding becomes your account's base currency, and balances and charges use it. If a parser is priced in a different currency, requests to it fail with currency_mismatch (HTTP 400). Contact support if you see this.

When your balance runs out

Before processing, SimplyParse checks that your balance covers the document. If it doesn't, the request fails with insufficient_balance (HTTP 402) and nothing is processed or charged:

{ "status": "error", "code": "insufficient_balance", "message": "Insufficient balance. Please recharge your account.", "data": null }

Top up in Billing and resend. For async submissions the balance is checked on the submit call, so a low balance is reported straight away rather than when the document is processed.

Watch your balance in production

Treat insufficient_balance as an alert, not a retryable error. Page someone or notify finance, and pause your queue until the account is topped up.
